Congratulations to our Ph.D. candidate, Sami Wismer!

Sami was awarded the 2025 Best Student Paper Award for her paper and presentation titled “Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) of a PEM Electrolyzer for Hydrogen Production at a Nuclear Power Plant.”

Her paper was selected as one of the best among all student-led papers at the American Nuclear Society (ANS) 19th International Conference on Probabilistic Assessment and Analysis in Chicago, IL. She received the award alongside George Joslin.

The PSA 2025 Technical Program Committee stated:
